Ronald Seth Wilkes (born July 26, 1977) is an American musician, currently in the post-metal supergroup, Khaos. He was the original frontman of the alternative metal band Osmosis and performed with the group for their first two releases, which were both extended plays. Compared to Marco Simmer, Wilkes had a more distinctive vocal style comprised of nothing but aggressive shouts and raspy singing; the reason he was fired shortly before the recording of I'll Have You Know (Osmosis' debut album) was because bassist Ash Beale thought his vocals did not fit the overall atmosphere the group was trying to capture. Simmer left his original position as rhythm guitarist and became the current driving force of the band, thus skyrocketing the band into a bit of fame.
